The Day Jobs is William Chesser and David Sherrill from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, playing driving, ragged, R&B-derived rock.
After playing together in various garage and local bands for nearly four decades, it took a global pandemic to drive William and Dave into the studio to act like real musicians for a few days. With the help of local pros Dylan Turner and Mike Buckley, the result was their first album of 10 songs: Don't Quit.
Don't Quit was recorded and mixed by Meghan Puryear at Nightsound Studios in Carrborro, NC, and mastered by Oli Morgan at Abby Road Studios in London.
Sure, they have to go back to their day jobs now, but at least they were loud for a while.
